Faithworks

The best way to find out more about Faithworks is to visit their website, but for a brief introduction keep reading below…

In 2001, Oasis, along with a number of other organisations, founded Faithworks - a movement of thousands of individuals, churches and organisations motivated by their Christian faith to serve the needs of their local communities and positively influence society as a whole.

Why? Well, Oasis has always known that in order to fulfil its mission of seeing lives and communities transformed it can’t do it alone! We recognise the vital role that the Christian church, along with other members of the voluntary sector, play in community transformation, particularly across the UK.

For this reason the Faithworks Movement was born - to inspire and resource churches as they develop their role in their local community and unconditionally serve the needs of those around them. By being part of a Movement, local churches can ensure that their local efforts and initiatives make a difference at a national level as Faithworks uses its voice to challenge the government and the media about the role of the church and faith communities in our society.

As you can imagine, this is no small task but with currently over 20,000 members, increasing opportunities to work alongside government, and regular national media coverage, the Faithworks Movement is making waves.

The best bit is that’s FREE to join so visit the Faithworks website, and prepare to be inspired!
